• Lyon Terminal will be present on 4th edition of this event which will be held in Amsterdam on 16 and 17 November 2009. This venue will be the meeting place for high level transport and logistical professionals from all over Europe to discuss the state of affaires in their respective playing fields.

• This year, Lyon Terminal will attend the SITL event together with 8 platforms from the Rhone/Saône river axis as "MED LINK PORTS" partnership.

• MED LINK PORTS offers to transport and logistics professionals a global service structured around the port of Marseille/Fos.

• The ports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge will be connected to Lyon by "Rhone-Flanders Express" from February 2nd, 2009. It is a new product of Interferryboats. The train will circulate on Wednesday and Friday leaving from Hand Hub and on Tuesday and Friday leaving from Lyon (Terminal of Edouard Herriot Port).

• At the request of customers, the train will also come to Chalindrey, in the North of Dijon. Inter Ferry boats ( IFB) appeals to Euro Cargo  Rail (subsidiary of EWS, taken back by Deutsche Bahn in 2007) for the traction. Do note that TRW also appeals to ECR for the traction of its trains of combined transport towards Spain.
