| To face the increasing request for services of intermodal handling, CNR has built a second terminal, located in the Port of Lyon Edouard Herriot. This terminal (Terminal 2) has gone live on July 4th . |
|
The cost of the investments is 16.5 million euros, an amount financed by the CNR, the State, the Region and the European Union. |

 The Terminal n°2 means :

 10 hectares of storage area (doubling the existing storage capacity) |
| 200 meters quay length |
| Gantry crane |
| 2 000 meters rail tracks |
| Fully computerized management system (strong reduction of hauliers passage time) |
